I do not consider documentary films to be a separate art form... they are documents of human life... Ritwik wanted to make a documentary on Ramkinkar Baij in 1975. The idea was to explore how Ramkinkar creates art. The cinematography was done by Partha Pratim Chowdhury and Mahendra Kumar.
