Abhro Banerjee, a 2017 Berlinale Talent and the winner of other multiple awards for editing feature-length fiction, non-fiction, and numerous ad films, is recognized for a body of work that is distinguished by an unusually wide range of styles and approaches across a varied array of film forms, languages, and genres. Awards
- In 2023, Abhro won the Rajat Kamal (Silver Lotus) for Best Editing in the non-feature film segment at the 69th National Awards. He was recognized for “establishing a fractured temporal universe that captures nonlinearity of fading memories narrated by the character” in If Memory Serves Me Right.
Did You Know?
Abhro has forever been smitten by the creative bug and has tried to explore different forms of art. He is a self-taught guitarist and strumming is his favourite pastime when he is otherwise not busy with work.
