It has not been widely discussed that famous film director Tapan Sinha also had his share of contribution towards documentary films in India. A Films Division of India's documentary titled Jagadish Chandra Bose (1959) was scripted and produced by him. It was directed by Pijush Bose. The latter was Sinha's assistant.
