Did You Know?

Few know that Anjan was barred from making cinema during his youth. His father was not allowed to direct cinema either. He, in turn, did not want to let Anjan direct. However, Anjan was not ready to accept it. Finally, his father relented in 1981. He decided to experiment and see if he could make a documentary with only music and sound effects and no voice-over. An Encounter is a product of that experiment.
