Ladly has a substantial body of work of both fiction and non-fiction work for Bengali television. He directed Hochhe Ta Ki, Loktantra Votetantra, Janaganamana and Nirman for Indian television channels. He also worked as a senior director for Khas Khobor. For Bangladesh Television, he directed Hassan (1994). It was a documentary on renowned novelist Hassan Azizul Haque.
