Lobby Card
Lobby card, as the name suggests, were usually kept in the lobbies of single screens. They were similar to posters but always smaller in size. In some single screens, they were also hung on walls or displayed on easels near the box-office. As a form of direct marketing, distributors supplied them to hall owners. Unlike booklets, these were not for sale. Their popularity declined with the waning of interest in single screens. In this section, BFA invites you to check out a selection of lobby cards from 1937 to 1988.
