Chandrabati Devi

Actress Chandrabati Devi had built a dreamhouse on Motilal Nehru Road in the Gorcha area. During her heydays, that house was a talking point of the industry. Today, it has been demolished to make way for a multi-storied apartment. Named Chandrajyoti, the moniker carries both the actress and her son's names.
