Subodh Mitra

Have you noticed the art deco house on Lake Avenue? Well, it belonged to Subodh Mitra who was known as Kachibabu in the golden age of New Theatres. The reputed editor-filmmaker had directed the Hindi version of Daktar. That apart, there is Nurse Sisi, Dui Purush, Raikamal and Grihadaha. This house seems like a piece of history too.
