Shambhu Mitra And Tripti Mitra

Bengal's cultural history has been closely associated with No. 1 Naseeruddin Road. Not just as the residence of Sambhu Mitra and Tripti Mitra, this was also the space from where Bohurupee theatre group functioned. The flat on the first floor had it south-east open. Today, it overlooks a flyover. The likes of singer Kalim Sharif and actor Md Israel had also stayed in this house of Justice Nasim Ali. The hallroom of the house next door at No. 15 has also served as the rehearsal pad for Bohurupee.
