Renuka Roy

From the 1940s to the 1960s, Renuka Roy has been known for playing the capricious heroine to the shrewd sister-in-law. The screen would light up the moment she came on screen. Yet, her own life became less radiant at the fag end of her career. Despite financial struggles, she still loved to serve home-cooked food to her dear ones. Unfortunately, Renuka died early on. Her old house in Pratapaditya Road still remains.
