Rajen Tarafdar

Born in Rajshashi, the legendary director shifted to Kolkata to study at the Government College of Art and Craft. Rajen Tarafdar's residential address in Kolkata was a rented house at 64 Charu Avenue. After marriage, the director shifted to Mudiali. Later on, the family moved to another rented house on Charu Avenue and then to another place on Bompas Road. In the 70s, he built his own house in Kasba’s Ruby Park. That house has now given way to a flat.
