Nachiketa Ghosh
Nachiketa Ghosh would feel restless if he didn't get a tune in his head once he woke up in the morning. His first call would be to lyricist Pulak Bandyopadhyay. One day, he urged him to come up with a mukhda. Unprepared, Pulak remembered his deceased first wife and blurtted out two lines. Another call came in moments later asking Pulak to drive down from his Howrah home to Nachiketa's Paikpara residence. The cost of petrol would be the composer's headache. Left with no option, Pulak had to rush to Paikpara. That, in short, is the genesis of the song: Ko phonta chokher jol phelechho je tumi... Here we present a photo of music director Nachiketa Ghosh and his Paikpara residence.
