Anadi Basu

The Boses of Aurora Film Company had their ancestral house on Kashi Mitra Ghat Road. Three generations of the Bose family, starting with Anadi Bose and then Ajit Bose and Anjan Bose, used to live in this ancestral house. This house was the seat from where films used to reach far and wide during the early days of Aurora Film Company when they ran a travelling cinema business. However, the house no longer exists. A multi-storied apartment stands in its place.
