Hiralal Sen

The Sen family's initial Kolkata address was in Sankharitola. Subsequently, they shifted to Masjidbari Street. Hiralal Sen was a student then. This house saw him grow up, get married and have children. But it didn't become his permanent residence. Some time later, it was sold off and Hiralal shifted to a rented property on Haritaki Bagan. This stay too wasn't for long. The property too was sold off and Hiralal moved to a house in Blacquire Square. That was where he passed away. Before this incident, his brother, Motilal, has shifted to Raibagan. The house in Raibagan had caught fire. The entire treasure trove of Hiralal's films was lost in that blaze. The fire also claimed the life of Motilal's daughter, Amiyabala.
