Dipti Roy

Actress Dipti Roy, who remained a spinster, lived in a flat in Lansdowne Place. She used to live with her mother in this flat. With a penchant for gardening, their balcony would always be a favourite haunt of birds and bees. Word has it that Chhabi Biswas would often fondly refer to it and say: 'Let me go and take a look at Dipu's hanging garden'.
